Here we present some of the jewels that this district´s crown. The most well known and famous botanist and ecologic scientist Carl Linnaeus/Linné will be your guide! The season starts in May with the change of nature from spring to summer – don’t miss it! September and October will welcome you with beautiful colourful scenery and culinary experiences as the hunting season is here. During summer you should experience some of the Swedish traditional holiday parties such as midsummer and a crawfish party.

You will have the unique opportunity of experiencing a journey like Linnaeus did, in a horse drawn carriage. On your way you will pass famous Linnaeus places including his birth home in Småland. The accommodations range in style from first class city hotels restored manor houses and exclusive castles to charming B&B. All are in beautiful settings, by a lake or a river, a fishing village, an old town or in the farming heartland.

Mobility Management
Transfers should create as little impact on the environment as possible. Therefore we suggest public transportation when it is convenient according to your scheduled time. It is easy and comfortable and gives you a perfect view of the surroundings and local life.
Your discount card permits you to hop on hop off wherever you please without any concern for coins and tickets.

However if you prefer your own rental car or private chauffeur- this could be arranged for an additional cost.
