5-days to visit private garden pearls

5 days with the inspiration of gardens, relaxation and culinary adventure.
Gardens, art and design –
Höganäs, located on the beautiful Kullen Peninsula, is famous for its ceramics.  Throughout the region a large handiworks tradition has flourished using the unique clay as raw material.  Several of the potters in town have worked for generations and will gladly tell their stories to visitors.

There are also hidden garden treasures to discover.  Around in the town are small pearls.  Not so easy to find if you don’t know where to look!  We show you the way!

We invite you on a trip to moving and inspirational gardens crafted by genuine garden lovers who are happy to share their creations. You will also visit Krapperup’s Castle Park at the foot of Kullaberg. The park dates at least to the 1600’s baronial mansion.  Among others Carl Linnaeus stayed here during his trip through the Kulla village.  From Krapperup you continue by horse and wagon up to two wonderful gardens at the crest of Kullberg: The Guardian of the forest, Himmelstorp and then Sylvia’s.

In Höganäs you discover two garden designers who have meant so much to garden lovers around the world: Ulla Molin and Emma Lundberg. Ulla Molin approach to the creation of garden space has been the model for many of today’s landscape architects and private gardeners.

Emma Lundbergs garden in Lerberget just south of Höganäs center is a fine composition of different kinds of stones.  It was already created by 1939, and it still offers the same peace and quiet since the restoration of 1997.

Between garden visits there is time for your own excursions in the attractive and cultural village.  The season is May to September/October.

Stay several days – a week – and enjoy yourself!

We invite you to 3 nights, 5 days with immeasurable inspiration for your own garden.
