First Free iPhone App About 33 European Cities

ECM (European Cities Marketing) has launched its first iPhone app about its 33 member cities, across 19 countries, including Stockholm and Gothenburg in Sweden and our neighbour’s Copenhagen, Oslo and Reykjavik. The tool has been developed by European City Card Group and 33 cities work together to develop the city’s City Cards for visitors. (more…)

Scandinavia is cheaper than you think

UK travellers believe a trip Sweden, Norway and Switzerland will cost them the most – yet France is actually the most expensive country to visit, according to research conducted by flight comparison site Skyscanner. Surprisingly, the Scandinavian countries of Sweden and Norway were far lower down when ranked by actual cost, taking places 13 and 18 respectively. (more…)

New Flights From Bergen in Norway

Bergen Norway

Norwegian is targeting tourism in western Norway and the business market from Bergen by adding an additional aircraft and six new routes from March.  The new destinations are Copenhagen, Stockholm, Barcelona, Roma, Chania-Crete and Antalya in Turkey. There will also be more departures to London, as well as to Dubrovnik and Split in Croatia. (more…)
