Secrets Of The Blue Mountain

One of the highlights during early spring, is the gathering of resting swans at lake Tysslingen, situated in the middle of Sweden. At the end of March and beginning of April, you can see between 1000-3000 swans. Kilsbergen hills with the swan lake Tysslingen at their feet also are named “The Blue Mountain”.
Garden Gems In Skåne

Skåne, the southern county in Sweden, is hiding a treasure of garden gems to visit! Nowhere else in the country you will find so many exciting private and institutional gardens to visit during a few days or a week. I went to see some of them for a site inspection just before Eastern. Of course still some weeks too early to get the full beauty of them, but you can feel the power of nature waking up after winter rest. (more…)

Biking Adventure Roundtrip

Last week I just realized that this region should be explored on a bike. Most tourist offices have day tours and short excursions in the area. I think I will create the coast to coast alternative as well!
