Växjö Best Sustainble City?

The town in southern Sweden,  Växjö is currently one of the most successful cities in terms of reducing CO2 emissions; 51% of Växjö’s energy comes from natural sources such as biomass, waterpower, geothermic energy and solar power. Emissions per resident have been reduced by 25% in just 10 years.

Royal City Walks In Stockholm

During the summer of 2010 the Stockholm City Museum will be reveling in royalty and is offering three completely new City Walks centering on princesses, the Bernadotte Family and Birger Jarl. The City Walks are part of the museum’s regular program, part of the Love Stockholm 2010 event and part of the Culture Festival. The duration of the walk is approximately 1.5 – 2 hours with a total of 30 participants on each walk.
