Sweden´s first marine national park is established on the west coast of Sweden. Here the marine environment here is influenced by the Atlantic and contains habitats and species found nowhere else to be found  in Swedish waters. Many associate the west coast, Bohuslän, with sailing, summer, sunshine and swimming. But Bohuslän can also be dark, cold and windy. (more…)

The concept was born from the question: “Why not create a comfortable, well designed hotel which allows visitors to live in harmony with nature amongst the trees?”
Well, with the help of a group of well known designers and architects, the idea has  now been turned into a reality. A group of rooms have been built in harmony with nature, and
with ecological values. They are all set in the forest and act as a tribute to the local conditions. “Dig where you stand” as the saying goes in Swedish.

We visited the incredible natural wonder, the cliffs of Möns Klint near Copenhagen. These white chalk cliffs thickly covered with dark green trees extend over several kilometres and dominate the sea from a height of 128m at their highest point. You can either follow the hiking trail on the top of the cliffs or walk down the 200 steps to the beach! (more…)
