Construction of the 366 bedroom, 25 floor high, Internationally branded hotel in Copenhagen’s Oerestad district, has progressed much faster than expected.The hotel is therefore expected to be ready in time to welcome some of the many participants at the UN Climate Summit – COP 15 – taking place in Copenhagen in December 2009. A few days ago the dream come true for Grand Hotel in Stockholm, when their luxury Spa opened in the building, Burmanska Palatset, next to the hotel. The hotel has invested about 100 millions in this Nordic health and relax venue to impress the most demanding clients. (more…)

We have a few SPA hotels in southern Sweden with an international standard, one of them is Ystad Saltsjöbad with new owners since May 2007. The four young and ambitious entrepreneurs, are now transforming the hotel from a rather old fashion countryside hotel to a trendy SPA hotel in classic New Port style. (more…)

Lydmar Hotel, Opening in October 2008, is a new deluxe hotel in the centre of Stockholm. The hotel is situated at the sea front of Blasieholmen, (near Grand Hotel)with a view over the Old Town, the Royal Palace, the Royal Opera and Parliament. Hopefully I will have some pictures and more to tell next week after a visit there!
