Kristianstad Air show
This event, which will be one of the largest in the Nordic countries, is being organized in cooperation with the aviation club Kristianstad Air Club and Skåne’s parachute club, Fallskärmsklubb. Flying displays, parachute jumps, and more û including the Scandinavian Air Show, F17 from the Swedish Air Force, Ljungbyhed’s Aeronautiska Sällskap (aeronautical society) and Västerås Aircraft Museum.

Housing days exhibition in Skåne northeast
The seven municipalities in northeast Skåne are holding an “Open house”. for all those who’d like to take some time to think about the important things in life, and get some advice on lifestyle issues. The Skåne Days at Bosjökloster Manor. Major local event in beautiful surroundings with handicrafts, food, music, dancing, sport and displays. Bosjökloster has been called the Pearl of the Ringsjön Lake and it is not hard to understand why – the white castle is beautifully situated on a neck of land in the lake.

Eventing at Öveds palace
During the weekend several international riders as well as Swedish riders with international merits will participate in both a two-star (CIC**) and a one-star (CIC*) event. Situated in the south of Sweden, Övedskloster dates from the twelfth century when a monastery was built on this site. Standing on Lake Vombsjön, some fifty kilometers north east of Malmö and the bridge between Denmark and Sweden, Övedskloster is located conveniently in some of the most beautiful country in Sweden.

Horse Show in Hässleholm, Skåne Northeast
Trotting and flat racing, dressage, Eventing, Icelandic Horses, Western riding, voltige and pony rides. If you are interested in dressage and would like to learn from a master how to train a horse from the beginning to Grand Prix the classical way, here is an excellent opportunity at the horseshow, supported by famous Jan Brink who has his farm here. The Swedish Jan Brink is a student and practitioner of the art of classical dressage and has achieved a great amount of success on the international scene. He is the winner of the Aachen Dressage Championships in 2005. At the show there will be happenings, music, food and exhibitors. A Co-operation with the housing exhibition, Housing Life Style Days.

Culinary Symposium in Helsingborg
Culinary Tourism Association (ICTA) announces the Scandinavian Culinary Tourism Symposium. It is the Association’s first culinary tourism symposium in both Scandinavia and Europe. The ICTA is pleased to partner with Position Skåne to produce this event.
The focused one-day format allows food, beverage and hospitality professionals, students, educators and the media to concentrate on specific issues of regional interest and forego the time, expense and effort it takes to travel to international conferences.

FEI Eventing World Cup Final 2006
Sweden’s greatest, most exciting and spectacular international riding championship. For the second year in a row, the Fédération Equestrian Internationale has chosen Sweden to host the finals of the FEI Eventing World Cup League at Ribersborg, in Malmö.

Apple market in Kivik
Harvest festival with the focus on apples. Two-day festival that always attracts around 20,000 visitors who listen to music, see the world’s biggest picture made from apples and follow guided tours of the apple factories of Äppelriket Österlen (the Österlen Apple Kingdom) and Kiviks Musteri (Kivik´s Juicer). Famous artists will be on stage, and children can see their favorite artists open this year’s Apple Market, which in 2006 is being held for the 19th consecutive year.
